Y’know, Just Thoughts…

Home.

Exhale

A flare during a sunset

Could either be as a sigh of relief or one of exhaustion but your body does tense up in response to that emotion.

I’ve found home in friends and lovers and cities and even in the ferociousness of an ocean; trusting the skills I have to navigate its choppy waters; and in the stillness of a hug, cuddle time with the babies… Home comes with a certain sure footedness that emboldens your creative pursuit.

It really is where the heart is.

Trouble is that you have learnt to keep your heart behind cages and it’s a bittersweet ping pong of an acknowledgment of your inhibition and the awareness that you indeed have to be unbound to create from a wellspring of joy.
