Hey, My name is Imani and still identify as a child with a dream.

Some of the buzzwords I’m certain SEO managers are trained to catch and have of my likeness would be justice, human dignity, young people, livelihoods, communities. It’s not being too altruistic of me. 😃

I build communities predicated on the exchange of value guided by adherence to fundamental human rights and freedoms which then become the building blocks for thriving a sector or country, region and I dare say a moment where as a planet we get to exhale and remind ourselves what it is to be human. That child like wonder however is marred by the impossible state of the globe where neighbor turns foe, instruments meant for peace, being the very ones for war and really a society that preys upon itself. The unfortunate case of the human condition.

I create platforms where this child like wonder gets a chance to peek right through and perhaps with more days experiencing human, we become human again. I interface with global industry leaders to create spaces for collaborative partnerships that harness opportunities for sustainable growth and development for the communities they serve; the primary focus being international development leaning heavily on minority groups and geographies. I drive for coherence at the intersection of business, innovation and policy by working with these leaders and their communities to identify these opportunities for collaboration for the good of humanity. I’ll figure out which philosopher to credit for that in a little while 😂

That again is the privilege I get to have. Being able to exist in spaces where these leaders trust you with their lived experiences that I can fully empathize with but also fully aware that I could, in being present in that moment, be part of the problem, but consciously making different choices, relating as human beings with shared goals for a better human experience; however better can be defined.

All those have the common denominator of shared values and responsibilities for the human experience that celebrates a people’s ingenuity and sense of freedom and dreams of childlike wonder; create a couple of more pockets of peace that I believe are a whole lot more wholesome.

I pray to never lose that sense of awe and wonder at the depth of what is capable with embracing collaboration as human beings.

The future is indeed human!
